Tim Rhodes is a competitive intelligence consultant focused on the high-tech and B2B software industries. Previously, Tim was the head and senior director of marketing strategy and competitive intelligence for the Oracle Marketing Cloud. The Oracle Marketing Cloud comprises technology from acquisitions made of Eloqua, Responsys, Compendium, and BlueKai. Tim’s team was responsible for business unit Go-to-Market Strategy, voice of the customer, competitive intelligence, & planning and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to Eloqua, Tim spent 12 years as a competitive intelligence consultant to companies such as Sprint, Microsoft, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Caterpillar, and IBM providing strategic and tactical competitive intelligence.
From 2004 to 2008, Tim was also an analyst for CNBC Europe’s “Today’s Business Europe” TV program. Tim provided live television analysis and commentary on the U.S. technology market to over 15 million regular European viewers of the Television show weekly on episodes that aired Tuesdays and Thursdays.
