Margret Schmidt – VP Product Development & Chief Design Officer at TiVo
Margret Schmidt is TiVo's Chief Design Officer, and Vice President of Product Development. She leads the engineering and user experience teams for domestic and international TiVo products, including DVRs and set-top boxes, and iOS, Android, and Web apps. Margret has been with TiVo since 2001, and holds 13 patents.
Margret is an alumna of UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering and Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. She has a Primetime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Television, and has been named one of the Most Powerful Women in Cable for the last seven years. She is a YWCA Silicon Valley Tribute to Women honoree, and one of Silicon Valley Business Journal's Women of Influence. Margret serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern California chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications, and the Advisory Council for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. Michael Dain – UX & UI Independent Design Director; Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern UniversityMichael is a Cannes award winning User Experience Designer, Educator and Strategist. He has 20 years experience imagining and delivering innovative user experiences for companies such as Leo Burnett, Salesforce.com, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Purina, NTT America, Myer Australia, Coca-Cola and Nintendo.

Brad Jaehn – Vice President, Digital at Camelot GlobalBrad Jaehn is one of the world’s foremost experts on digital experience. Earlier in his career he worked for a combination disruptive and established brands such as Orbitz, Sears and Gogo, where he experienced first-hand many of the challenges of transformation and the obstacles to digital success in a legacy organization, as well as founding startups such as BonVoyou.
Most recently, Brad was VP of Global Digital Experience for McDonald’s, where he led portfolio, program, product, and user experience teams around the world. As one of the largest companies in the world in the midst of a digital transformation, Brad’s experience at McDonalds is invaluable in helping other companies understand and succeed in digital.
Tenni Theurer – Sr Director Product Management at Yahoo Homepage and NewsOutstanding innovator & operational exec across consumer domains at Yahoo, Visa and IBM. Tenni Theurer’s experience spans 16 years building products, platforms and services. Tenni is currently Sr Director Product Management for Yahoo Homepage and News, managing consumer web and mobile app products that reach over 500 million global users across 13 different markets. As Sr Business Leader - Visa Checkout, she captained the product innovation, strategy, and consumer experiences for Visa’s digital wallet and mobile services, leading launch from conception to market, and growing from 0 to 50+ participating issuers and 35+ merchant partners. Prior to Visa, she held leadership roles in engineering before transitioning into product management leading Search distribution initiatives across the Yahoo Network. At IBM, Tenni worked in the Pervasive Computing group involved in developing high performance enterprise mobile synchronization solutions, a stealth project led by IBM Fellow and VP. She directly championed critical on-site deployments for key B2B customers in US and Europe.
Tenni is a notable guest speaker at events including Tnooz, O'Reilly Web 2.0 Expo, Ajax Experience, Rich Web Experience, AJAXWorld, BlogHer, WITI, and CSDN-DrDobbs. Paige Bennett – Senior UX Researcher at Weight WatchersPaige Bennett currently leads User Research for Weight Watchers/Wello. Paige began her career as a TV Journalist for ABC New Orleans. After leaving the newsroom, she moved abroad to Oman to conduct user research and content strategy throughout the Middle East. After Oman, she moved to Austin to work for Dell, where she led strategy for Dell's Corporate Social Responsibility program, "Powering the Possible."
Paige moved to San Francisco in 2013 and has spent the past two years consulting for startups throughout the Bay Area. She is originally from the New Orleans area and loves a good shrimp po'boy.
Amanda Linden – Head of Design at AsanaAmanda is responsible for product and marketing design at Asana, and also the Asana brand. Prior to Asana, she was the Design Director for Intuit’s small business division. There, she led the redesign of Intuit Quickbooks web and mobile products, and also managed their payroll and payments experiences. She was previously a Director of Design at Yahoo! on the platform team. Amanda has an MBA and a BS in visual communication from UC Davis.
