Proud to be a recognized Competitive Intelligence practitioner with over a decade of experience conducting Competitive Intelligence in the retail industry. I’ve had experience transforming a pure pricing collection function to a true competitive intelligence department while at Best Buy, and established a CI function with my current employer.
I’m a recognized subject matter expert and public speaker on topics such as using Web 2.0 tools in CI, Ethics in Competitive Intelligence, and building a strong CI function. In addition to speaking at CI events both here in the US and abroad, I’ve led numerous CI workshops in conjunction with executives at CI consulting firms.
These workshops have included topics such as building next-generation human source networks and using a key success factor matrix to move your CI team from a “firefighter” capability to become true futurists. I’ve also been cited in CI publications such as “The Handbook of Market Intelligence” and quoted in Forbes Magazine on the topic of Competitive Intelligence ethics.
Additionally, I’ve been honored to have participated in or moderated several insights panels on topics as diverse as competitive intelligence ethics, building a competitive intelligence function from the ground up, using CI to guide strategy and how to develop world-class CI deliverables and products for executive clients.
